Millionaire Fairs charity expanses its frontiers
In 2007 Millionaire Fair Moscow will continue to actively support a number of charity programs including "Lifeline" and WWF Russia's "Reserves and National Parks."
As a result of the successful partnership between Millionaire Fair Moscow and the Lifeline program two operations have been carried out and the partnership has become a cornerstone in the continuation of the Fair's charity work. From 2007 the Millionaire Fair will donate part of the revenue from ticket sales to the Reserves and National Parks of Russia Fund.
The “Reserves and National Parks” fund is a WWF Russia program, which was created 10 years ago together with Publishing House Independent Media to support Russian wildlife and reserves. The program urges individuals and the business community to unite and develop efforts to preserve the amazing and unique nature of our country.
Based on tenders the program distributes small grants to projects that aim to preserve the natural environment (including rare animals and plants and those facing extinction) and the traditions and customs of indigenous people, to improve the protection of specific territories and to develop ecological education and ecotourism.
Participants and visitors of the Millionaire Fair will have the opportunity to contribute to preserving the beautiful natural resources of Russia.
